Brenda has just finished writing her first novel, a comedy, entitled Woman Behaving Badly, to be published by Harper Collins, due out Winter 2025. 

 

50 something Millie Flynn is a gorgeous success…in her dreams. In real life she is generously free from the burdens of accomplishment. And telling frequent lies to constantly save her skin is surprisingly little help. Perhaps it wasn’t wise to claim to have secured a famous celebrity for the firm’s annual charity night, nor was it a good idea to pretend to an upmarket estate agent that she could afford a glossy new flat and how is she ever going to compete at work with the perfect Gabby over suave new recruit Tom? Maybe Tom will like her for the person she is inside? No, that’s unlikely. No, there’s nothing for it, more lies are required. Only it’s getting harder to keep track of them and with the charity night looming ever nearer, total humiliation, on all counts, looks set to strike.
